Economist, Policy Advisor, and Educator
I'm a PhD economist with expertise in public policy who enjoys educating people on the insights economics has for understanding the world.
I have over 30 years of experience with the Federal Reserve, where I led briefings for the Bank President and the Board of Directors on monetary policy and other issues, managed a team of policy-focused researchers, and educated both internal and public audiences on prominent economic issues and the Fed’s role in the economy. This fall I am looking forward to teaching undergraduates and MBAs at the University of Minnesota as an Adjunct Professor.
